Russell M. Brogan, age 97, of Alliance, formerly of Bandy Road, passed away Friday November 17, 2006 at Bel Air Care Center. He was born February 7, 1909 in Alliance, to the late Griffith and Esta (Winders) Brogan. He was a member of the North Benton Presbyterian Church. He was the owner/operator of Brogan Meats near Salem for 18 years. He was a life member of the Mile Branch grange (79 Years) a breeder and dealer of Quarter and Paint horses and a retired state meat inspector. He is survived by his wife Florence Kline Brogan whom he married on Sept. 11, 1986. 3 sons Larry R (Mary) Brogan of Alpine, TX; Ronald R. (Cathy) Brogan of Alliance Robert L. (Patty) Brogan of Beloit; 6 grandsons; 1 grandaughter and 4 great grandsons 2 step daughters, Betty A. Bloss of Wadsworth; Carolyn A. Kerr of Alliance; 2 step sons Robert A. (Shirley) Kline and Donald E.(Judy) Kline both of Alliance , 7 step grand children and 6 step Great Grandchildren He was preceded by his parents; 1st wife Olive L. (Gobeli) on March 26, 1986; 2 brothers Ross W. and Harold A. Brogan; 2 sisters Edna V. Brogan and Ruby C. Allison and several nieces and nephews. Services will be held at Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home in Sebring at 11:00 AM. Tuesday Nov.21, 2006, with Rev. Ed Harnish officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Burial will in Fairmount Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to the Russell Brogan Mile Branch Grange Scholarship Fund.
