Russell H. Clark, 91 of Homeworth, died Thursday, August 20, 2009 at Pleasant View North Nursing Home in Damascus. Mr. Clark was born in Moultrie, Ohio on August 10, 1918 the son of the late Hyatt Dazell Clark and Ida (Hofer) Clark. Russell worked for Union Cartage in Austintown as a truck driver; he was a member of the Teamster’s Union #377 in Youngstown and the American Legion George D. Worth Post. Survivors include; a daughter Karen (Rob) Geurin of Harbor City, CA, two sons Ralph (Diane) Clark of North Georgetown, Dennis Clark of Homeworth, 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. He is also survived by a step brother Howard Neiswanger of Beloit and a step sister Margaret Cain of Florida. Russell was preceded in death by his wife Wanda (Stump) Clark in 1988, a sister Esther Mae Yeagley an infant daughter Kelly Sue Clark and a step brother Dale Neiswanger. Services will be held at Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home at 11:00 AM Monday, August 24, 2009 with Rev. Mike Kimball officiating. Friends may call on Monday the hour prior to the service.
