Ruth Minor Shutler

Ruth Minor Shutler, 82 of Alliance died on February 24, 2010 at her residence in Alliance. Mrs. Shutler was born in Canton, Ohio on March 16, 1927, the daughter of the late Art and Oma (Jacobs) Pittman. Ruth was a member of the Tri County Church of Christ and was employed for many years at the Alliance Community Hospital. She is survived by 4 daughters; Donna (Jack) Eagan; Nancy Martin and Cindy (Harold) Eddy all of Alliance, Kathy Jo Joy of Wellsville. She is also survived by 2 sons; Leo (Shannon) Minor and Larry Minor, both of Alliance; sister, Betty Jean Positewait of Caldwell and a brother Donald Pittmen of Salem as well as many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Ruth was preceded by her first husband Leo Minor and her second husband, Delbert Shutler; a daughter Linda Pederzolli, a son –in-law, Glen Martin; a sister Mildred Summers and a brother Dale Pittman. Per Mrs. Shutlers request her body will be cremated. There will be no services or visitation. Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home is Sebring is handling the arrangements.
