Samuel Stryffeler

Samuel R. Stryffeler, 81 of Beloit, passed away on June 5, 2012. Sam was born in Beloit the son of the late Charles and Rosella (Baker) Stryffeler. Mr. Stryffeler was a member of Bethel United Church of Christ, he owned and operated a Ditching Business and was a Farmer. Survivors include his wife of 59 years Doris (Zurbrugg) Stryffeler whom he married on June 15, 1952 of Beloit, two children; Avon (Allen) Mehaffey of Homeworth, Larry (Shelley) Stryffeler of Beloit, five grandchildren; Matthew (Lee) Spencer, Michelle Spencer, Paige Stryffeler, Jacob Stryffeler, Brooke (Trevor) Michael and four great grandchildren; Sophie Stryffeler, Alexandria Spencer, Rylie Michael and Adelyn Michael. He is also survived by two brothers; Donald Stryffeler, Gene Stryffeler and a sister Mary Alice Bolanz. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter Donna Spencer, two brothers and a sister. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 9, 2012 at Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home at 10:30 AM with Rev. Haan Phelps officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 9:00-10:30 AM. Burial will take place in Highland Memorial Park.
