Sara Mitchelltree

Sara Mitchelltree, age 96, of Sebring passed away at her residence, surrounded by close friends on Sunday, April. 29, 2007. She was born Sept. 16, 1910 in East Palestine to the late John W. and Sara (MacConnon) Reed. Sara was a member of the Sebring United Methodist Church. She was a Gold Stamper for Queens China, a member of Alliance Elks, Eastern Star, and the American Legion auxiliary. She is survived by nieces Bonnie Whitikar of Florida and Sally Reed of East Palestine and nephew Dick Reed of Minerva. In addition to her parents she was preceded by her husband Jack Mitchelltree on Jan. 2, 2006, whom she married June 29,1935; sisters Bonnie Reed and Helen Jewel; brothers John, Raymond And Hugh Reed. Services will be held at Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home on Friday May 4, 2007 at 11:00 AM, with the Rev. Joy Blaney officiating, friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
