Sarah Allison

Sarah J. Allison, 83, of Alliance, passed away on Saturday, March 31, 2012 at Altercare of Louisville. Sarah was born in Parkerburg, WV on July 2, 1928 the daughter of the late Albert and Mary (Welling) Hayes. Sarah worked for Mobile Chemical retiring after 22 years of service. She was a member of Beechwood United Methodist Church and enjoyed traveling and camping. Survivors include her husband of 63 years Dean Allison whom she married on November 6, 1948, a daughter Margaret Garrison of Alliance, a son Robert Deane (Cathy) Allison of Palm Dale California,; 9 grandchildren, Nanette, Clara, Sarah, Teresa, Tony, James Lea Ann, Shona, and Sarah; 20 great grandchildren and a sister Ruby Collingsworth of Bolivar. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by a daughter Cheryl, four brothers and sisters, two son-in-laws, Peter Garrison and Louie DelPuppo. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, April 3, 2012 at 10:30AM at Gednetz-Ruzek funeral home with Rev. Bob Miller officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 6-8 PM.
