Sarah L. Robson, 90, of Sebring, passed away, Sunday, September 20, 2009 at her home. Sarah was born in Beloit on March 10, 1919 the daughter of the late Harry and Gertrude (Cobbs) Huffer. Mrs. Robson was a member of the Sebring Presbyterian Church. Sarah retired from Copeland Oaks as the Kitchen Supervisor in 1986 after 17 years of service she was also a former employee of Royal China where she worked as a liner, and Sebring High School where she worked as a cook. Sarah was an avid painter and drawer; she especially enjoyed the art classes at the Alliance Art Center. She will also be remembered for her good sense of humor and always being up for a good debate. Sarah is survived by her two daughters; Carolyn (Jay) Schmidt of Akron, Barbara Montler of Sebring a son, Jay (Dolores) Robson of Marysville, WA, 7 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Milton A. Robson on March 19, 1972, a daughter, Joyce Virden and 2 sisters; Edith Ikirt and Delite Doulette. Services will be held at Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home on Thursday, September 24, 2009 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Jay Schmidt officiating. Burial will be in Damascus Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 2-8 PM with the family present from 6-8 PM and also 1 hour prior to the service on Thursday. Memorial contributions can be made in Sarah’s honor to the Beloit Fire Department or Hospice of the Valley 5190 Market Street, Youngstown, OH 44512.
