Selby Ralph Manypenny, age 86, of Beloit, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 17, 2007 at the Alliance Community Hospital. He was born March 2, 1920, in North Benton, to the late John F. and Mabel (Rose) Manypenny. Selby was a farmer and a member of the Farm Bureau, Salem Eagles, Alliance VFW #1036, Sebring American Legion Post #76 and Sebring VFW # 6730. Mr. Manypenny is survived by his wife Grace (Hartzell) Manypenny whom he married April 11, 1938. He is also survived by 3 daughters, Patricia (Homer) Sanor of Beloit: Janice Henderson and companion Allen of Hopedale; Debra (Lon) Bartchy of Beloit; brother Howard Manypenny of North Benton; and sister Jennie Halczak or North Jackson. Selby also leaves behind 7 grandchildren, Homer (Debra) Sanor Jr.; Teresa (Lynn) Felgar; Mark (Colette) Birkhimer; Lori (Rolland) Case, and David, Kevin and Matthew Bartchy.and 9 great grand children, Alisha and Desirae Sanor; Melissa, Randy and Madelynn Felgar; Zachary, Nathaniel and Cole Birkhimer and Amanda Case Mr. Manypenny was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter Linda Raye and 2 brothers Donald and Thomas Manypenny. Funeral Services will be held at Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home at 1:00 PM Friday, Jan. 19, 2007, with Kenny Manypenny officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
