Sharon Rose (Lawrence) Scott, 80 and a half of Sebring passed away on Thursday, October 15, 2015 at Northside Hospital.  Sharon was born in Hubbard on March 3, 1935 the daughter of the late James and Emily (Viskia) Lawrence. Sharon graduated from Ursuline High School in Youngstown and was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church. She was a Girl Scout and Cub Scout Leader, founding member of United Neighbors Controlling Local Environment (UNCLE). She was very active in her church where she participated in many church activities where she was a member of the Altar and Rosary Society and CCD Teacher. She volunteered at the American Heart Association and was a poll worker. Sharon enjoyed bowling, bingo and spending time with her family and friends.

Survivors include her two daughters Jamie (Joseph) Crano of Edinburg, Shelly (Dennis) Covert of Leetonia; two sons Owen (Chris Osborn) Scott of North Benton, Rick (Kam) Scott of North Benton; and five grandchildren Ona, Owen II, Richard, Dylan and Jarrod. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Oakey; two sisters Patricia Johnson and Mary Fitzpatrick; a brother James Lawrence and a son Byron.

A mass of Christian burial will take place at 11:00 AM on Saturday October 17, 2015 at St. Ann Catholic Church with Fr. Thomas Dyer officiating.  Friends may call the hour prior to the service at the funeral home.  Burial will take place in Deerfield Cemetery.
