Shirley Evelyn Carman, 97, passed away on Monday, May 6, 2024. She was born in Kensington, Ohio on April 25, 1927 to Wilbur and Reta Amon.
Shirley retired from Queens China, where she worked in the decal department. She was a graduate of Augusta High School. Shirley enjoyed playing cards, doing crossword puzzles and going to casinos. Her favorite thing to do was to spend time with her family.
She is survived by a daughter Diane (Edward) Braidic, grandchildren Aimee (Brad) Whitlatch, Scott Braidic, Angela O'Hara, five great grandchildren; Logan Berger, Massen Ciecerko, Brady Whitlatch, Ashton O'Hara and Ayden O'Hara. She is also survived by a sister-in-law Marilyn Mooney. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Richard L. Carman on October 13, 2004, a brother Richard Amon, sister Paulin Martin, sister Donna Polen and an infant sister Viola.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, May 8, 2024 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel at Highland Memorial Park in Beloit, Ohio.
