Shirley Courtwright

Shirley L. Courtwright, 68, of Barberton passed away on Friday, October 8, 2010 at Western Reserve Hospital in Cuyahoga Falls. Shirley was born in Woodruff, West Virginia on February 15, 1942 the daughter of the late Clarence and Nellie (Clutter) Sampson; she retired from Quikey Manufacturing as a screen printer and attended the Lake Milton Baptist Temple. Survivors include her two daughters; Laura (Gary) VanPelt of Sebring, OH Lynn (Rob) Sylvester of Boardman, five grandchildren Donald Arrendale Jr., Steve VanPelt, Sxcott VanPelt, Laura Sylvester, Gracie Sylvester and two great grandsons Hayden and Joel VanPelt. She is also survived by a sister Marie Zdila of Akron. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by a sister Linda Sue Bertrand and an infant brother Raymond. Services will be held on Wednesday, October 13, 2010 at 10:00 AM at the Lake Milton Baptist Temple with Pastor Aaron Dowler officiating. Friends may call at the church on Tuesday from 6-8 PM.
