Shirley Ann Neiswanger, 81, of Beloit passed away at her home on Friday, March 18, 2011. Shirley was born in Hartville, Ohio on April 13, 1929 the daughter of the late Glen and Ora (Phillips) Wallace; she was a graduate of Beloit High School and worked at Ohio Edison for over 18 years. Shirley attended the East Goshen Friends Church and loved to travel, go hiking, camping and just spending time with her family and friends. Survivors include her husband of 63 years Howard E. Neiswanger of Beloit, and four daughters; Vicki (Jim) Herold of Beloit, Valeria (David) Blake of Clinton, OH, Cindy (Scott) Kurena of Beloit and Cheryl (Greg) Elder of Sykesville, Maryland. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers; Glen LaVerne Wallace and Dale Lorin Wallace. Services will be held on Monday, March 21, 2011 at 11:00 AM at the East Goshen Friends Church with Rev. Gerald Baker officiating. Visitation will be held on Sunday March 20th from 2-8 PM at Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home with the family present from 6-8PM and one half hour prior to the service at the church on Monday. Burial will take place in East Goshen Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made in Shirleyâs honor to the Alliance Hospice, East Goshen Friends Church or the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
