Stella Bednarek Ruzek, 93, of Sebring and formerly of Dillonvale, OH passed away Tuesday, morning, September 1, 2009 at Crandall Medical Center in Sebring. Stella was born in Bradley, Ohio the daughter of the late Max and Appelina (Kalopovia) Bednarek. She retired as a Clerk from the Dillonvale Bakery. Stella was a member of St. Adalberts Catholic Church in Dillonvale, the CSA Lodge #121, the Czech Skyline Radio Club, Eagles and the Senior Citizens Club. Mrs. Ruzek is survived by her two sons; Roger L. (Sue Ann) Ruzek Sr. of Sebring, Joseph (Sylvia) Ruzek Jr. of Dillonvale, five grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter. She is also survived by two sisters, Mary Sykora of St. Clairsville and Olga Brodzinski of Salem and a sister-in-law Marge Bednarek of Mingo Junction. Besides her parents Stella was preceded in death by her Husband Joe Sr. in 1990, six brothers Max, Victor, Loudy, August, Frank and her brother Edward who passed away the same day Sept. 1, 2009, three sisters, Mary Bednarek, Betty, Kaurich, and Alice Welczynski. Services will be held on Saturday, September 5, 2009 at Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home at 3:00 PM with Pastor Mike Kimball officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 12:00 PM till the time of the service. Burial will be in Holly Memorial Gardens in Pleasant Grove, Ohio.
