Thelma Greeneisen

Thelma M. Greeneisen, 88 of Alliance, passed away on February 16, 2014 at Canterbury Villa in Alliance; she was born in Minerva on October 26, 1925 the daughter of the late Levi and Ada (Lutz) Simmons. Thelma enjoyed attending Sebring Friends Church and participating in various church activities, but her most important thing was to spend time with her family.
Survivors include; 3 sons Russell (Katherine) Greeneisen of Salem, Gary Greeneisen of Westerville, Galen (Pamela) Greeneisen of Alliance a daughter Brenda (Keith) Wright of Willoughby; 4 grandchildren Mike Greeneisen and Jeff Greeneisen both of Damascus, Amanda Greeneisen of Canton, Ashley Greeneisen of Alliance and 3 great grandchildren Skyler, Ragan and Jenna. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Russell Greeneisen whom she married in April of 1945 and past in 1987 and two brothers Frederick A. Simmons and Russell W. Simmons.
A funeral service will take place at 11:00 AM on Friday, February 21, 2014 at Gednetz-Ruzek funeral home in Sebring with Quint Bryan officiating. Friends may call on Thursday at the funeral home from 6-8 PM and the hour prior to the service on Friday from 10-11 AM. Burial will take place in Highland Memorial Park.
