Biography
Theodore "Ted" Samuel Waithman, 44, of Beloit passed away on Saturday, October 25, 2014, at Salem Regional Medical Center. Ted was born in Alliance on May 26, 1970, the son of Gordon Waithman and Winnie (Greier) Waithman. He graduated from West Branch High School and worked at Sanor's Sawmill and Dutch Harbor Marina. A lifelong area resident, he attended Beloit Friends Church, enjoyed going to Mount Union football games, was a Michigan fan, and loved to hunt and fish.
Survivors include his parents Gordon Waithman of Beloit and Winnie Waithman of Beloit, and his dog Weezer. He is also survived by a brother Dave (Deb) Karper of New York, three sisters Linda Douglas of Virginia, Marie Fortney of Salem, and Terri Fortney of Salem. He is preceded in death by a brother Roger Karper.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday October 29, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Beloit Friends Church with Rev. Mark Reich officiating. Friends may call from 6:00 - 8:00 PM on Tuesday October 28, 2014 at the funeral home. Arrangements are by Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home.
