ALLIANCE - Theorita E. Bennett, age 90, of Alliance, passed into her Savior Jesus arms, at 3:40 p.m., Saturday, June 29, 2019, at her home.
She was born July 19, 1928, in Montgomery, AL, to Theodore H. and Helen (McKay) Wills and has been an Alliance resident since 1948.
Theorita graduated in 1946 from Central High School in Akron, OH. Theorita worked at Taylorcraft, Taylor Corp, Chemwood and Jay's (variety) Store prior to the arrival of her first child. Later she worked for a short time at the Alliance Employment Bureau. She volunteered Regina Coeli, the American Red Cross, and as Pink Lady at Alliance City Hospital. She loved reading. She was a significant blood donor.
Theorita was a member of Regina Coeli Catholic Church in Alliance, OH.
She enjoyed playing cards, dancing and spending time with her Lord in prayer and family time. Theorita visited Hawaii on two different occasions; Hong Kong and Alaska once.
Survivors include her five children; Richard (Elizabeth) Bennett of Munroe Falls, OH, Theorita K. (Bob) Bennett of North Canton, OH, Pamela (Mike) Hickman of Alliance, Scott (Jackie) Bennett of Alliance, Albert (Lori) Bennett of Norton, OH; seventeen grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; sister, Jean June of Phoenix, AZ; brother, James (Georgia) Nash of Roselle, IL; sister, Donna Lee McGinnis of Lawrenceville, GA; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Richard A. Bennett; and one sister, Rosemarie Wills.
Visitation will be held Thursday, July 11, 2019, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Gednetz-Ruzek-Brown Funeral Home in Sebring. A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, July 13, 2019 at Regina Coeli Church in Alliance at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow the mass at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
