Thomas Howard

Thomas E. Howard, age 73, of Sebring, went home to be with the Lord Wednesday ,June 3rd at Crandall Medical Center. He was born June 6, 1935 in Alliance. He graduated from Sebring High School and from Eastern Nazarene College, Boston, Mass. with an Assoc. Degree. Tom retired in Sept. 2004 from Sebring Local Schools as head custodian. He was a member of Sebring Nazarene Church where he taught Sunday School for many years and he was associated with Sebring Camp helping wherever he was needed.. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and camping. Tom was an avid Ohio team’s sports fan. He enjoyed time spent with his family, grandkids and most recently his great grandson Tom is survived by his wife Sally (Hughes) Howard, whom he married Sept. 3, 1960; along with a son Todd E. Howard (Sheila) of Alliance and a daughter Cathy J. Neiswanger (George) of Sebring; three grandchildren Dustin S. Howard, Haley C. Howard and Casey J. Evans, and great grandson Damien Thomas Cooper; 2 brothers Marvin Howard (Lou) and Larry Howard (Mary) of Ft. Myers, Florida; brother in law Bill Hughes (Rose Marie) of Beloit and nieces and nephews.. He was preceeded in death by his father Glenn Howard and his mother Lucile (Martin) Howard, 2 brothers Donald and Melvin, daughter Christine G. Howard and brother in law Kenneth W. Hughes. His mother and father in law William J. & Irene Hughes also preceeded his in death Services will be held at the Sebring Nazarene Church at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday June 6th with Pastor Mike Kimball officiating. Calling hours will be held at Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home Friday June 5th from 2 to 8 p.m.,with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m., also 1 hour prior to the service at the church.
