Thomas Macolino

Thomas Macolino Thomas Macolino, 70, of Salem, died Friday Nov. 10, 2006 at his home. He was born to the late John and Josephine (Marone) Macolino on Sept. 20, 1936 in New Haven, CT; he and his wife moved to Salem in 1996. He attended St. Paul Catholic Church in Salem, was a member of the United Steel Workers Union, and was employed by the Perelli Tire Co. and Hall Industries as a Machinist. Thomas also served in the US Army. He enjoyed bowling and was an avid NY Mets and Lady Huskies Basketball fan. He is survived by his wife Sandra (Snedeker) whom he married Aug. 20, 1959, two daughters Patricia Macolino of Leetonia and Barbara (James) Steeves of Lisbon, seven grandchildren; Thomas J. Macolino, Dan, Jimmie, and Taylor Steeves, James and Jocelyn Consiglio, and Stephanie Boughton. He is also survived by a brother John Macolino of CT. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Josephine Chase. Services will be held at 7:00 PM, Wednesday, Nov.15th at Brown Funeral Home in Salem with Mr. Robert Moore, officiating.
