Thomas Donald McFeely, 72, of Beloit passed away at Alliance Community Hospital on Sunday, July 20, 2014. Thomas was born in Alliance on March 2, 1942 the son of the late Jackson and Helen (Dynovic) McFeely and step father Ted LaNave; he was a 1960 graduate of Alliance High School and attended Walsh University. He was the former owner of Showcase Flooring in Alliance. Mr McFeely was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus #558, past Commander Sons of the American Legion, Sebring, and a past member of the Alliance Dante Club. Thomas was an avid Cleveland Fan; Browns, Indians and Cavs, but Notre Dame was his favorite. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, especially his dog Reggie.
Survivors include his wife Connie (Seruch) McFeely; a daughter Julie (Scott) Rockwell; five sons Thomas L. (Patricia) McFeely of Alliance, Christopher McFeely of San Diego California, Matthew (Sherri Carpenter) McFeely of Ocala, Florida, Mark (Tanya) McFeely of Arizona, Michael (Christina Bowman) McFeely of Alliance; grandchildren, Bailey Park, Evan Park, Zoie Bailey, Ashley Elizabeth McNulty, Heather Miller, Ashley Brook White, Daniella McFeely, Brittany Pinkerton, Matthew McFeely Jr., Christine McFeely, Kelli Burns, Christopher McFeely, Courtney McFeely, Amber McFeely, Shawn Bowman, Corey May and thirteen great grandchildren. He is also survived by a brother in law Frank (Carol) Seruch, a sister in law Christina Beckett, and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will take place at 10:30 AM on Thursday July 24, 2014 at St. Ann Catholic Church, Sebring with Father James Korda officiating. Friends may call from 9-10 AM prior to the service Thursday at the funeral home. Interment will take place in Highland Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made in Thomas’s honor to The Alzheimer’s Foundation of America 322 Eighth Ave. 7th Floor, New York, NY 10001 or the charity of the donor’s choice.
