Thomas A. Menges, 77, of Sebring, passed away on Sunday, February 7, 2010 at Crandall Medical Center in Sebring. Thomas was born in Cleveland on January 18, 1933 the son of the late Fred A. and Fonda N. (Hendershot) Menges. Mr. Menges worked at the Royal China Pottery and attended the Tri-County Church of Christ. Thomas was a US Army veteran and was active in the AARP and the VFW. Survivors include his wife Nancy (Simmons) Menges whom he married on March 28, 1970 of Sebring, three sisters; Judy Williamson of Alliance, Ora Jean Ervett of Scio, Oregon, Julia Rose and a brother Paul Menges of Seattle, WA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his sister Fonda Cobbs. A Funeral Service will be held at Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 10, 2010 at 1:00 PM with Rev. Terry Kirsch officiating. Visitation will be the hour prior to the service on Wednesday. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park in Beloit. Arrangements are by Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home.
