Thomas Yost

Thomas G. Yost, age 69, of Sebring passed away at Mercy Medical center on Sunday, May 13, 2007 at 7:58 AM. He was born in Moundsville, W.Va , on May 31, 1937 to the late Russell E. and Mary (McQuade) Yost. Tom was an active member of St. Ann Catholic Church, where he served on the Parish Council. He was also a Past member of the Knights of Columbus. He was employed at the American Steel Foundry for 42 years retiring in 1997 as a millwright, and was a member of the American Steel Foundry 25 year club. Tom was an Army Veteran of the Korean War. Mr. Yost is survived by his wife Kae K. (Hoover) Yost whom he married on July 11, 1964; son Gerard “Jerry” (Melissa) Yost of Alliance and two grandsons, Evan L. Yost and Jayden T. Yost. In addition to his parents he is preceded by his step father Thomas Howells. Friends may call at Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home on Wednesday May 16, 2007 from 9:30 to 10:30 AM with a Funeral Mass to follow at St. Ann Catholic Church in Sebring at 11:00 AM, with Rev. Thomas Dyer officiating. Burial will be in Grandview Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Humane Society. Arrangements are by Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home.
