His commitment to education was unwavering, dedicating over four decades of his life to the noble profession. His journey began and concluded at West Branch Local Schools, with a significant 29-year tenure at the Louisville City School District along the way. Tom's dedication to his students was unparalleled, and he left a deep impact on many young lives.

Outside of his professional life, Tom was a man of many passions. He loved fishing and gardening, finding peace and joy in the simplicity of nature. However, his favorite pastime was attending his children's and grandchildren's events. His presence at these events was a testament to his unwavering support and love for his family.
