Velva Marjorie Ward, 64 of Sebring passed away on Saturday, May 10 2014 at Canterbury Villa in Alliance. Velva was born in Sebring on December 31, 1949 the daughter of the late Harold Lester and Frances Lillian Fullerton. Velva was a life member of the Sebring VFW Auxiliary, a past member of the American Legion and was very involved in anything her children or family members were. However her most important pastime was spending time with her family.
Survivors include her husband Jack Ward whom she married on September 3, 1971, her children Jack (Theresa) Ward Jr. of Fort Jackson, SC, Judy (Tom) Warrick of Sebring and 6 grandchildren; Tristin Ward, Tommy Warrick, Kayden Ward, Hadleigh Ward, Bo Warrick and Emily Warrick. She is also survived by her siblings; Delbert Fullerton, Janet May, Patricia Fox, William Fullerton, and Donna Vernon. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by siblings; Barbara Snyder, Russell Fullerton, Jack Fullerton, Judith Higgins, Harold Fullerton Jr., Mary Fullerton, James Fullerton, Kathleen Fullerton, and Eugene Fullerton.
A funeral service will be held at Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home in Sebring on Thursday, May 15th at 11:00 AM with Pastor Mark Reich officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 6:00PM till 8:00PM. Interment will be in Highland Memorial Park.
