Vera Mae Blasiman

Vera Mae Blasiman, 85, of East Rochester, passed away on Saturday, February 18, 2012 at Salem Community Hospital. Mae was born in Butler Township, Columbiana County on August 1, 1926 the daughter of the late John and Nettie (Good) Hardy. Mrs. Blasiman was a Dairy Farmer and also had worked at Zellers in Hanoverton and the Minerva Dining Room; she loved puzzles especially crosswords but she enjoyed spending her time with her family. Survivors include her three daughters; Connie (Tom) Beadnell of Kensington, Bonnie Palmer of Hanoverton and Glenda (Jeff) Forsythe of Tuscarawas, 8 grandchildren; Tammy, Tom Jr. Wendy, Ron Jr. Mike, Josh, Missy and Nate, 11 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren and a brother Delmar Hardy of Malvern. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Glenn in 2003, 2 sisters and 1 brother. A Private Funeral Service was held on Monday, February 20, 2012 at Gednetz-Ruzek funeral home with Raymond Beadnell officiating. Burial took place at Highland Memorial Park.
