Vincent "Ray" Bollinger

"TOGETHER AGAIN" Vincent “Ray” Bollinger, 73, of Alliance passed away on Thursday, July 28, 2011 at Roselawn Terrace. Ray was born in Meadville, Pennsylvania on May 29, 1938 the son of the late Walter H. and Mabel A. (LeTourneau) Bollinger. Mr. Bollinger worked as a Pumper for Clinton Gas Company in Columbus retiring in 1993; he enjoyed being outdoors, hunting, fishing, making wooden models and spending time with his family. Survivors include two daughters; Traci L. (Bill) Difloure of Alliance, Rebecca J. (Earl) Clements of Cape Coral, FL, a son Timothy K. Phillippi of St. Augustine, FL, 11 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. He is also survived by 4 sisters; Evelyn Bollinger of Milwaukee, Doris VanLander of Hobe Sound, FL, Shirley Haney of Largo, FL, Carol (David) Conner of Conroe, TX and a brother Robert (Gloria) Bollinger of Stow. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife of 48 years Shirley A. Bollinger who preceded him on March 18, 2010, a son Kevin Bollinger on October 26, 2003, a grandson Brandon Carpenter, a great grandchild Amari Clements, a sister Mary Jane DeLong and 2 brothers Walter D. and Louis Bollinger. A Graveside service will be held at the Grandview Cemetery Chapel in Salem on Tuesday, August 2, 2011 at 1:00PM with Pastor James White officiating.
