Violet Haller left this world to be with her Savior, family and many friends on October 4, 2012. Violet was born on July 16, 1919 in Dover, Ohio to Forrest and Anna (Haney) Espenschied. Violet leaves behind a daughter Emily and son-in-law Paul Bailey, also a son Bud Haller. She leaves a granddaughter, Dianna Furgiuele and great-grandson, Matthew, a granddaughter, Patricia Thompson and husband, Clayton, great grandson Robbie, great granddaughter Heather and great great granddaughter Audrey Marie. Violet will be reunited with her husband, Robert and infant son Robert Ivan Jr., and four dear sisters, Bernice, Kathryn, Erma and Frances. Also mourning her passing are many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, her great- “granddog” Simon, and many, many friends. Violet lived a full and happy life. She was a member of Sebring United Methodist Church, the Tuscarawas Saddle Club, and Smith Grange. She was employed by Sattiron Manufacturing, Bailey Ford, and the Mahoning County Election Board. She was the Sunday School Superintendent at her church and volunteered many hours at The Concern in Sebring. Violet was an avid bowler in many leagues for more than 50 years. She loved animals, setting up at flea markets, going to garage sales, and spending time with her family and friends. Services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, October 8, 2012 at Sebring United Methodist Church with the Reverends Robert Amey, Norma Bates and George Scheckengost officiating. Friends may call from 2-8 PM on Sunday, October 7, 2012, at Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home in Sebring, with the family present from 6-8 PM. Burial will take place at Ridge Crest Cemetery in Dover, Ohio. Arrangements are by Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home. Friends may send condolences and sign the guest register online at www.grfuneralhome.com.
