Violet J Morrison

Violet J. Morrison, 75 of Beloit passed away at her home on Wednesday, December 16, 2015. Violet was born in Hundred, WV on June 16, 1940 the daughter of the late Frank and Jelemma (Wise) McDonnell. Violet was a graduate of Cecil High School, she sold Home Interiors for 10 years and owned Vi’s Upholstery; she enjoyed playing bingo, traveling to Mountaineer, but she especially loved spending time with her children and family.
Survivors include her husband William of Beloit, three sons; Billy (Erin) Jr. of Clymer, PA Michael (Jan) of Salem, Delbert (Catherine) of Sebring and a daughter Cindy (Allen) Wade of Sebring, 13 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. She is also survived by a brother Steve (Karen) McDonnell 3 sisters Loretta (Donny) Watson, Judy (Carl) Vanderhoff, Mary (Steve) Reid and many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by son John David Morrison and three brothers Archie, Ike and Paul.
A Funeral Service will take place at 1:00 PM on Saturday December 19, 2015 at Gednetz-Ruzek funeral home in Sebring with Ron Lanham officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday, tonight from 6-8 PM. Burial will take place in Highland Memorial Park in Beloit.
