Virgil Bowman

Virgil Bowman, 85 of Alliance, passed away at his home on Wednesday, April 7, 2010. Virgil was born in Alliance on November 4, 1924 the son of the late Virgil J. and Celia E. (Taylor) Bowman. Mr. Bowman retired from the B & W Tube Company after working 30 years; he was also a member of the Alliance Baptist Temple. Survivors include his son Rick Bowman of Alliance, and 6 grandchildren; Gary Bowman, Richard P. Bowman, Christina D. Bowman, Sonya Bowman, Jessee Bowman and Jason Bowman, six great grandsons and 1 great granddaughter. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his son Sonny in 2008 and his wife Martha (Shasho) in 1995. The family is honoring his request for no services.
