Celebrations were routine for Ginny and Ray, starting with a surprise 40th wedding anniversary, then a surprise 49th anniversary including a chartered flight with her immediate family to Winchester Virginia where they were married in 1948, then another surprise at their home for their 50th with most of Beloit, their home for over 50 years, in attendance, then another celebration on their 60th At Mohican State Park, and they only fell short 6 months of their 70th due to Ray's passing.

One of Ginny's most prized memories was an appearance with her husband in the movie "In Her Shoes" starring Cameron Diaz.
