Vivia Bennett

Vivia Bennett, 87, of Alliance passed away on Saturday, March 21, 2015, at Alliance Community Hospital. Vivia was born in Martinsville, West Virginia, on March 9, 1937, the daughter of the late Otho and Mildred (Rine) Leasure. She was a member of the Alliance Church of the Nazarene, enjoyed gardening, cats and Cleveland Indians baseball.
Survivors include her son Freddie (Laurie) Bennett of East Rochester, a daughter Norma Thomas of Cleveland and a grandson Freddie Bennett. She is also survived by three brothers Harold Leasure of Weirton, WV, Ben Leasure of Louisville and Jim Warren and two sisters Phyllis (Roger) Ault and Virginia. She was preceded in death by a daughter Janet Bennett, four brothers Glen Leasure, Ray Leasure, Tom Leasure, and Joe Leasure.
A graveside service will be held Thursday March 26, 2015 at 2:00 PM. Arrangements are by Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home. Friends may send condolences and sign the guest register online at www.grfuneralhome.com.
