Wayne Miller

Wayne W. Miller, 96, of Alliance, passed away, Saturday, November 28, 2009 at McCrea Manor in Alliance. Wayne was born in Jefferson, Township, Knox County, Ohio on April 1, 1913 the son of the late Halsey C. and Edith M. (Hicks) Miller. Wayne graduated from Holmesville High School in 1933 in Holmesville, Ohio, he worked for the CCC during 1933 and 1934 he also was a life member of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America. Survivors include three sons; Edward E. (Kathryn) Miller of Alliance, John W. (Kathy) Miller of Lacey, WA, Fred E. (Jane) Miller of Savannah, GA, a daughter D. Sue Cates of Monroe City, IN, 2 step daughters; Karen (Ralph) Rohrer of West Jefferson, OH and Patricia Davis of Crown Point, OH, 21 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy E. (Pope) Miller on June 20, 1998, and a brother Delorma L. Miller on Feb. 2, 1992. Private Family Services will be held.
