Wilbur Cress

Wilbur E. Cress, age 78, of Beloit, passed away on Tuesday, August 28, 2007, at 10:15 AM, at McCrea Manor Nursing Center He was born Sept. 12, 1928 to the late Homer and Ethel May (Newton) Cress. Mr. Cress was a press operator for Transue and Williams in Alliance, he also loved to bowl. He is survived by his brother, Alfred Cress of Beloit. Wilbur was preceded by his parents, four sisters; Helen, Jaunita, Hazel and Luella and three brothers; George E., Carl and Homer Cress Jr. Funeral services will be held at Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home on Friday, August 31, 2007 at 1:00 P M. with Rev. Mike Kimball officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home Friday starting at 9:00 AM until the time of the service.
