William Brenner

July 29, 1938 — March 1, 2015


William “Bill” Brenner of Sebring passed away on Sunday March 1, 2015 at Alliance Community Hospital. Bill was born in Sebring on July 29, 1938, the son of the late William and Myrtle (Binns). He is a graduate of Sebring McKinley High School, attended Muskingum College and served in the US Army. Bill was a member of Sebring Presbyterian Church, an avid golfer, coached Little Trojan football and Hot Stove, enjoyed all sports and any activities that his grandchildren were participating in. He was a true Ohio State Fan. He enjoyed traveling to Myrtle Beach every year with his wife, but spending time with family and friends was most important. He is a past member of the Sebring Board of Education, and a member of the 1955 undefeated football team that was inducted into the Sebring Athletic Hall of Fame.
Survivors include his wife of 54 years Evelyn (Cardinal) Brenner whom he married on August 7,1960; his three children, Todd (Kelly) Brenner, Megan (Will) Woods and Amy (Dan) Guy all of Sebring; 9 grandchildren Annastasia, Amanda, Evelyn, Jacob, Jenessa ,Justin, Stefan, Seth, Dominic and 6 great grandchildren Jocelynn, Indonika, Sevin, Zayla, Lantin and Kimber. He is also survived by two sisters Marty Flory of KY and Jackie (Ed) Cardinal of North Benton
A Funeral Service will take place at 2:00 PM on Wednesday March 4, 2015 at Gednetz Ruzek Funeral Home. Friends may call 1 hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will take place in Grandview Cemetery. Friends may send condolences and sign the guest register online at www.grfuneralhome.com.
