William Brodzinski Sr., age 85, of Salem, passed away Friday, December 22, 2006, at Salem Community Hospital. He was born January 6, 1921 in Adena, Ohio to John and Katherine (Kowalczyk) Brodzinski. Bill was a retired farmer and a foreman in the C&F Dept. at American Steel Foundry retiring in 1976. He is survived by his wife Olga (Bednarek) Brodzinski whom he married on June 2, 1945 and celebrated their 61st wedding anniversary this year;daughters, Carol Ann (Terry) Scott of Salem and Delores (Paul) Macejko of Lowellville and son William (Connie) Brodzinski Jr. of Minerva; 3 sisters Elizabeth Olexia of Astor, Fl; Wanda Mayger of Stuebenville, and Virginia Miller of Beloit 3 brothers Henry, John, and Joseph Brodzinski all of Alliance, and 12 grandchildren. Mr Brodzinski was preceded in death by his parents, a son Mitchell A. on 10-27-92 and sister Helen Walman. Funeral Services will be held at Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home, 126 W. Vermont Ave. Sebring, Ohio 44672 at 1:00 PM Wednesday, Dec. 27, 2006 with Rev. Thomas J. McCarthy oficiating, friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 2 to 9 with the family present 7-9. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park.
