William "Bill" Clarkson Jr

William “Bill” A. Clarkson Jr., 85, of Leetonia, passed away on Wednesday, May 25, 2011 at Salem Community Hospital. Mr. Clarkson was born in Montgomery County Pennsylvania on February 22, 1926 the son of the late William A. and Elsie Elizabeth (Byler) Clarkson. He was a tree surgeon/owner operator of Clarkson Tree Service. He was a member of the FOE in Leetonia and enjoyed being outdoors, fishing and going to Rogers Sale. Bill is survived by his children; Jon (Sherry) Clarkson of Lisbon, Billy J. Clarkson, Tom Clarkson, Ben Clarkson all of Leetonia, Judy (Jim) Jirot of Braidwood, Illinois, Jane (Alfred) Williams of Joliet, Illinois, Sally (Tom) Wiles of Minerva, BillieAnn Cross of Salem, Bobbie Joe Kiko of Guilford Lake; 26 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson and his brother, David. Per his request Bill will be cremated and a private family service will be held.
