William F. Faudree, 79 of Sebring passed away at his home surrounded by his family on Monday, November 19, 2018. William was born in Alliance on November 11, 1939 the son of William P. and Zelma (Tuel) Faudree he was a 1957 graduate of Sebring McKinley High School where he was a member of the undefeated 1955 football team. Earlier in life he worked as a projectionist part time at the Sebring and Alliance Movie Theaters, he retired from American Steel in Alliance and was a former member of the Sebring Fire Department where he served as the first EMT and also worked for area Ambulance Services. Bill was an avid golfer and enjoyed playing with his friends at Salem Hills Golf Club, he was an antique buff and enjoyed antique cars and bought and sold old car parts. He was a member of the Sebring Lodge No. 626 F and AM, the Valley of Youngstown A.A.S.R., Tadmore Shrine, the Alliance Shrine Club, Salem Hills Golf Club, Sebring American Legion, Sebring Historical Society and the Alliance YMCA.
Survivors include his wife of 60 years Linda (Brooks) Faudree, his children; Stephen (Teresa) Faudree of Sebring, Diana Powers of Sebring, William (Anita) Faudree of Sebring, Michael (Melissa) Faudree of Sebring and Julie (Chris) Stamp of Winona. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; Kayla (Scott) Heimann, Jillian (Jon) Schleuder, Amanda (Brandon) Riggs, Nathaniel Faudree, Alexis Faudree, Allyson (Josh) Cintron, Jordan (Dana) Faudree, Josh Faudree, Janessa Stamp, Morgan Stamp, Megan Stamp and Lindi Stamp; 10 great-grandchildren; sisters Sara Faudree and Lydia Faudree.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 24, 2018 at 1:00 PM at Gednetz-Ruzek-Brown Funeral Home with Pastor Freddie Rodriguez officiating. Friends will be received the hour prior to the service from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the funeral home.
