William Gorby

William Y. Gorby, 76, of Sebring passed away on Friday, December 31, 2010 at Regency Hospital of Ravenna. He was born in Cameron W. Va. on Dec. 25, 1934, the son of Yager and Irea Wilma (Glover) Gorby. Mr. Gorby worked as a crane operator for 35 years at Alliance Machine. He is survived by a daughter Kimberly Gorby of Sebring; two sons Jeffrey (Virginia) Gorby and Gregory Gorby, both of Alliance; 1 grandson Jeffrey A. Gorby II, 2 step grandchildren Amy Toole and Jennifer Pow; 3 step great grandchildren; Christopher Toole, Austin Toole, Allissa Pow and 1 brother Larry Gorby of Cameron, W. Va. William was preceded by his parents, his wife Linda in 1998, 1 sister and 3 brothers. Services will be held on Wednesday, January 5, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home in Sebring with Rev. Mike Kimball officiating. Burial will be at Highland Memorial Park Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 3:00 to 8:00 pm., with the family present from 6 to 8.
