William Jones

William H. Jones, 85, of Alliance, and formerly of North Benton died at Sterling House of Alliance on Friday, March 21, 2008. He was born in Frakes, KY on Oct. 29, 1922, the son of the late William and Judy (Bowlin) Jones. Bill retired from GM Lordstown in 1988. Survivors include his three sons,William "Bill" (Claudette) Jones of Florida, William C. (Lisa Beth) Jones of North Benton, Ted L. (Sandy) Jones of Gary, IN; two daughters, Judy (Whitey) Dupirack of East Liverpool and Amy (Craig) Bryan of Salem, eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Bill was preceded in death by his parents and six brothers and sisters. Funeral Services will be held at Highland Memorial Park on Monday, March 24th at 2p.m.with Pastor Mike Kimball officiating.
