William "Bill" Stanley

William “Bill” Stanley 82 of Sebring, died at his home surrounded by his family and friends on Monday, October 24, 2011. Bill was born on May 1, 1929 in Sebring to Beryl O. and Grace Mary (Morgan) Stanley; he attended Science Hill School and was employed by Royal China, the Sebring Park and Play Ground and the Sebring Street Department from which he retired in 1991. He was a hard working man who loved to hunt, loved his family and lived life the way he wanted. Bill will be greatly missed by all who loved him. Another Legend Has Passed… Survivors include his three daughters Barbara (Kenny) McClain of Alliance, Sandy Stanley of Sebring, Debbie Stanley (Howard Miller) Gillman of Alliance, a special friend Phyllis Ricci and her children Andrea Ricci and Matt Brownfield, two grandchildren Stacy McClain (Rich) Benner, Tonya Sheehan Hancock and five great grandchildren Chad William Benner, Taryn Benner, Chazette, Raven and Savon Hancock and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by two sisters, one brother, grandsons Troy and Trent McClain and grand nephew Michael Stanley. A Gathering of Friends will take place on Friday, October 28, 2011 at Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home from 6-8PM with a time of remembrance to follow at the Birdies Rec. Center in Sebring.
