Willis Kirkbride

Willis M. Kirkbride age 83 of Berlin Center, passed away on June 16, 2008 at Hospice of The Valley in Poland. He was born March 22, 1925 in North Benton, Ohio to Glenn and Esther (Gibson) Kirkbride. Willis was a graduate of Deerfield High School. He was employed as a truck driver for 24 years at Kuntzman Trucking in Alliance, retiring in 1984. He was a farmer and a member of the Mahoning County Farm Bureau. He is survived by his wife Ann (Johnston) Kirkbride, whom he married on September 25, 1948. He is also survived by his two daughters Deborah Bennett of Berlin Center and Linda Brown of Tionesta, PA; two sons Ronald Paul Kirkbride of North Benton and Donald Willis Kirkbride of Guam; eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Paul. A private family service will be held with burial at Hartzell Cemetery. Arrangements are by Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home.
